Kimberly and Matt’s Wedding Photos with Fireworks

Kimberly and Matt were married in mid-October in a beautiful, intimate ceremony in Kimberly’s mom’s backyard. After, they were going to go out to shoot off fireworks and take pictures with them but it was SO late, and we were all SO tired that they decided to postpone this portion of the evening until Thanksgiving break.

So on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, we went out to the American Fireworks Superstore (with permission) to shoot off fireworks and take some pictures. This was a first for me but we got it all figured out and several photos came out beautifully!

Pumpkin Patch with Lily

Naomi & Derick were kind enough to let me accompany them so their beautiful daughter Lily could pick out pumpkins this weekend. She’s so adorable but tough as nails! She picked out her own dress and picked out her own pumpkin (it was really a squash of a different variety but when you’re 2, a pumpkin is a pumpkin!). We had so much fun just looking all the different sizes and shapes of pumpkins. She even organized all the baby pumpkins for the nice folks at Manchaca United Methodist Church! Some pumpkins were special enough to earn a hug!! What a special, loving child and what a beautiful fun day with a wonderful family.

"Well, you're a perfectly round pumpkin, aren't you?" "These pumpkins need organizing!" "These are both pumpkins and this funny looking one is mine. You can have this one."

2015 Texas State University Bobcat Alumni Marching Band (BAMB)

This year’s Texas State University Bobcat Alumni Marching Band was this past Saturday (9-19-2015). Since I was performing in the ensemble, I didn’t get to take as many pictures as I’d wanted but I want to thank my friend Dwayne for taking pictures during rehearsal. We had a wonderful time and I can’t wait for next year!
